Safe Haven Transition House
Reclaiming our Community Soul through a new type of Recovery
Soul Watch Consulting was founded with a mission not only to provide mental health services to Cape Breton, but to help the community reclaim the spaces where mental health has been most impacted. Through collaboration with incredible partners, we are now launching the Safe Haven Transitional Housing — a program where continued care after sobriety from substance addiction is prioritized.
Safe Haven will serve as a sanctuary for individuals rebuilding their lives after addiction, trauma, and profound loss. Rooted in community connection, healing, and personal restoration, it will bridge the gap between treatment and independent living, creating firm foundations for a healthier individual and a stronger community.
Working closely with recovery centers, mental health supports, and community organizations, residents will participate in structured reflection, skill development, and purpose-oriented programs that nurture the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. From boundary setting and emotional regulation to family healing and personal growth, every element is designed to help residents rediscover belonging and self-worth.
Safe Haven will be more than a place to stay sober — it will be an integrated community where residents become living examples of what happens when care, accountability, and connection are woven together. This project embodies the Soul Watch mission: to bring healing through connection and to share in the collective work of becoming whole once again.
Fundraising Gala
The Safe Haven Gala, hosted by Soul Watch Consulting, will take place on December 13, 2025, at the Inverary Resort in Baddeck, NS. This evening will mark the official launch of the Safe Haven Transitional Housing project — a night dedicated to community, story, and renewal.
Set in an atmosphere of warmth and gratitude, the gala will feature music, shared reflections, and opportunities to sponsor this compassion-based program that transforms lives. Beyond fundraising, the evening is a declaration of hope: that together, we can help reclaim lives once lost to addiction and pain, and rebuild a community where healing becomes possible for everyone.
Join us in reclaiming lives, restoring connection, and renewing the soul of Cape Breton.
